I'm needing to replace the fuel line on my 288, there is a rubber grommet on the fuel tank and no easy wasy to get in there. Any suggestions so i don't have to remove the tank to change the line?

Sounds like you have the old style fuel line but pics would help. You’re gonna have to at least remove the tank mount screws to give yourself room to work. At that point the tank comes off so easy it doesn’t make much sense to fight with it imo. 2-series hooskies are about as simple as it gets.

Thanks XP. I ordered both lines thinking i could pop out that grommet on the tank and use the new molded hose. decided to take another stab at it with some small angled hemo forceps, silicone grease and pushed it in from the top just enough for large forceps to grab from the inside. pulled top grommet over top hose and walked it into the hole.
6 or 7 pulls and she popped over

That’ll do. Glad you got her going.
