Hey guys does anyone know of a source for a 24” .404 pitch bar for a 661? I have a few rolls of .404 RS chain and am currently running a Stihl 32” bar. I’m fine with quality after market, just have not been able to find one. 24-25 inch would be ideal, Thanks

Is anyone familiar with the Archer bars? Are the good quality? I’m only familiar with Stihl, cannon,
Granberg and Oregon
I did a few searches. Didn’t find much on the positive side but it was comparing the bars to cannons, Stihl oem, etc. baileys had a few Oregon but they may have been 3002 Mount.

For the price, I would go with an Oregon Power Match Plus Bar. I have had great luck with them in 24" length. They are good quality.

Ahh. Good point.
I know a couple of guys using the Archer bars and chains. They like them. They do well for their intended purpose. But they are no Tsumura or Sugihara.
They are using the 3/8 bars and chains.
Might be worth tbe shot.

Unfortunately they don’t offer a .404 in the small Stihl mount that I could find

The tips will interchange. A good dealer might swap them for you even. If not, you'd just need a 3/8 .063 D025 bar and a replacement .404 tip. Same with pretty much any brand.
