Gotta be honest ...I've had great luck with the cheap a55 Chicom knockoff covers. I consider that a disposable part and "Rent is too damn high" on the OEM one.
The Chicom cover is a bear to replace the brake handle on because the spring set up is not exactly the same...and it's a pain even n the OEM one as well.

I'm aware of the aftermarket covers, if I wanted a missed matched cover that stood out like a sore dick compared to the rest of the saw I'd consider it

Looking at mine I have in the shop I see the black handle is broken you are better off buying new from Definitive Dave at Chainsaw Conservation Components. Factoring in about ten dollars shipping for mine and it isn't worth it.
