Picked this up as a project. It is complete and nothing seems broken besides the corner of the top cover BUT it is scored. I’m not sure why. Nothing is obvious to me. It is a non running project. I’d plan on replacing the cylinder and piston. Not sure if it will clean up, I would doubt it. It has a Mahle cylinder. The saw has good spark and the chain brake seems to work. I did not bother to fully re-install the muffler, but the threads did seem fine

HL is selling oem top ends for $99 when on sale. They happen to be tonight.

Why are we looking at the pictures carefully? Looks like a complete NE project on the surface.

It should be. I just want the buyer to be aware that it’s a project and it’s obviously a well used saw. I want to give as much information as I know about it. I don’t want the buyer to have any unexpected surprises

Great seller here. Got the saw Sunday as described. Got the new top end Saturday, so I had some time to do mild porting. Here is a video of it's first heat cycle.

The exhaust side isn't too horrible but the intake side has a deep groove all the way to the top. I still might play with it.
