Howdy Folks!

Just testing the waters here to see if anyone is interested in NIB MS241C's. The little factory hotrods are still available here and I can get a hold of a handful for sure. I'd probably need to get in the ballpark of $750 shipped friends and fam each (shipping included) or add 3% for goods and services. These list price higher than the MS261 here.

I also have some MS400's on order but no sign of them yet.

Holler at me if you are interested.

UPDATE: 4 x 241C's $705 shipped with friends and fam. That's cheaper than suggested retail here and I'm paying the shipping....

I’d be interested in a 462! Or a 400 possibly. Never ran a 261 what do they compare to?

Hi Matt! The 261 is the 50cc Stihl. The 241's I'm offering are Stihl's 43cc little beasts. Comparable to the Dolmar 421 if you've ever ran one of those. IMO they are lighter and faster.

I can get a 462 carb and the 400's have been on order for a while now. More news to come on those.

Awesome thanks for the reply, I’ve got an order in on a 550xp. They are on back order depending on how long it takes I may cancel it and try one of these. And keep me posted on the 462/400.

Are you going to buy two so you can keep up on your duplicates

Nah, no 241s for me. I'd like to try one for a while, but between my m18 saw, 421, and pile of 350/351/346s I don't exactly NEED one. I owed our Mediterranean friend some money for the good stuff. He taped up the package he sent me so damned good I don't think customs was equipped to open that box!

Can’t have that Evian Gold getting spilled during shipping. Lol.

last time Dan shipped oil in with my saw they took the oil at customs. Never got the oil back. Really sucked

We gotta try that one again, Nic. Not sure why they grabbed it. Probably assumed it was flammable because of the saw and then realized what it was and decided to keep it. Bastages!

I have no need for one but they would sell here imo. The 435 filled that gap for the junker 018's and still does. Just won't die. Thing is everyone is a cheap bassturd around here. My saws always end up going out of town past local or mailed off to another state.

Send it here when you get bored of it. Tempted to order one to get the oil ;)

I'm seriously considering going this route vs a rear handle 201.

If you ever want to try a 420 Dolly Steve say the word. I passed by your area twice this weekend. Thinking Memorial weekend for some ramp action will be the next trip up.
Thanks bud. I'll see what I have going on and get back to you.

They are both fast saws. 241 has more grunt to pull 18" lp.
201 is more of a 14" bar saw. 14" and 18" would cover it nicely.
And truth be told, the 201 is all I need. Hell, I don't need it. I don't burn wood or use a saw for a job. Either way I go, it will be ported. I'm ruined on that part for sure.
