HUSQVARNA 141 Compression

A neighbor has a clean Husky 141 that will start with mix poured in the carb but then dies. In looking at it the compression is about 130. Is that too low for this saw? Probably need to replace fuel, impulse, air. Any other suggestions? Plan to check vac and pressure once we are further into it.

Have you pulled the muffler and checked the piston. I have had several of these trick me into thinking they had good enough compression to run and found that they were already slightly scored on the exhaust side of the piston....
