Bought this with the sole intention of using the rod, then I found a source for new rods. Overall it looks good, used but good. I picked it up for $150 plus shipping. I figure I’ll pass it on for the same, $150 plus shipping

Well ya see, the Stihl boys were impressed by my name and wanted to put me in one of the calendar shots ya know. Well then I stripped down ya know, then they said “well jeepers, you’ve got a rod of your own.” I said, “you betcha!”

Now I have a source for new 084 rods

I’d assume, they are factory Stihl rods. Apparently Canadian dealers were able to buy just the rod
