045 AV- AV mount broken need advice

Im rebuilding a 045AV that belonged to my grandpa and found this
Is it possible for this to be welded or repaired? Or do i need to source new case halves?

Yup, I can fix that.

I think I'm going to try this HTS-2000.

Anyone have experience with it? Says it bonds to magnesium.

You’re piston in the wind with that glue.

You’ll be over a hundred dollars ahead by sending it out for a $45 weld job...even including the round trip shipping costs.

Lucky that you don’t need to split the cases for that welding.
