I did that also and it keeps spitting fuel back on my hand
No sir it isn’t
It’s an all stock saw so far. I got the saw in some trading for other work I did on an 066. It has sat for bout 3 months before I got around to changing the crank seals and doing the carb yesterday. I’ll be messing with it again later this morning after I get back from town and will report back. What is the extent of the mods/repairs you made on the saw?
Spark screen clean?
Change plug?
Check piston and squish?
Confirm fly key OK?
Which piston size and cylinder?
If all above OK, and you tried without filter, I’d swap the carb out. It sounds bad.
