I'm new here, but post under the same username at Arboristsite.

I'm looking for an OEM cylinder for the 024 Super. I suppose I won't turn down a quality aftermarket cylinder if it's a good deal.

Also needing a carb from the MS360 for my 034 so I can run the larger 360 air filters. I believe this was the Zama C3A?
To go with this I need a low-profile tank vent like those on the 044. According to my IPL it should fit the 034 tank. P/N 0000 350 5800.

Thanks!

Does it have the orange umbrella vent in the tank? That’s a good vent. Why are you wanting to change?

I don't see an orange umbrella in the tank. I'd like to change vents so I can use the ms360 air filters, which are wider than the 034 air filters.
I may not need to do this, but I just tore down the 034 and it had a lot of carbon fouling and was beginning to score the piston. The air filter is pretty small and seems to get clogged easily, which I'm thinking is causing the saw to run rich, especially since it doesn't have a compensating carburetor. So I'm going to try and fit up a larger air filter with a compensating port and carb.

I believe you’ll have to stay with that vent, unless you change the tank/rear handle. You could maybe cut it down to clear the larger filter, but I’m not sure.
