Is yours a open port cylinder one or close port one?
There's 2 types of MS382 cylinder. One is open port and one looks like 461.
Wow. That's a good thinking. I need to investigate it again. BUT! The 372 crank looks like the whole shaft is the same dia, but actually it is...
So... Is it ok to use those 046 cranks?
Obviously it spun a bit in the inner race.
The big end is smooth and tight. Shame I need to toss it.
Stihl 038 uses 6203 at pto side. And that crank itself is stout.
I thought I was unlucky to buy a crank case assembly with the pto bearing spun! The crank is perfect until I split it.
This thing has so many quirks and features!
I believed the Low Smoke is synthetic blend? Not bad stuff. Ive used a few of the small bottles.
I have no idea what oil is used previously. It even carboned the other side o fthe piston. At least stuffs are still in good condition.[ATTACH]...
Metal flywheel means narrow case 066?
The cranks case with brake flag is a 026. But the plastics are 260.
I tuned mine to around 9500.. Hmmmm
That's some unique stuff you got.
I totally feel ya bro. I'm the same person who cares about a tag. I would even find a tag that has no scratches to match my new crankcase.. And...
No. But the spring inside is strong as hell. I've cut 1 loop of the spring in one of my 288 and it still brakes fine and release much easier. But...
The 288 I have is stiff as well.
You gotta split the can and reweld it.
Just a tube facing up, the tube leads directly to the bar pad.
Saber is thicker that Dom.
I just tune the things to max factory rpm with a tach and cut. Less than 1 minute.
F@ck the 4 stroking sound. Maybe a mtronic or autotune..:asz:
