Another piece of advice, get a boot dryer. Not one with timers and fans, just the regular heating element that you leave plugged in all the time....

I wear a wedge sole. The heel just doesn’t do it for me.
Danner’s Composite toe if that’s your thing, I don’t care for composite or steel toe myself.
Helps keep the lights on, taint that big of deal.
