I have run it in br800x and fs131r. Clean and responsive at 50:1. Runs a tad warmer than Saber but has a better hit. Edit... Smells good.

Could be, if this problem is only during operation. My impression was that the chain gets loose and tight while spinning it by hand.

My last one was a Chinese rim. It was very loose fitting on the clutch drum, not obviously out of round persay, but it moved alot...

Maybe where the drive teethes sit in is crooked. You cant measure from the outside. One tooth sit higher than the others would cause this.

Same reason you have torque to yield in your car. Just replace with steel. The couple of grams aren't going to matter.
