You can square it up a little bit but I wouldn’t lower it much if at all

The ramped intake side transfers on those cylinders are weird. Some people square them up and turn the roof into a normal flat profile...

I bought a tire tube to cut pieces out of for that on other saws. Didn’t realize but most tubes are butyl rubber now. -
