I agree, no issues with oiling on the 271 for me either. -
271 doesn’t need it in my opinion. I run an 18” .325 bar and not enough oil wasn’t a problem. Cutting/ noodling dead ash, elm, etc

It does not come with an adjustable oiler, not sure if one can be retrofitted (like one from a 261).
