Trade you a 10mm 044 that will eventually need a new piston for that 064 ;)

    Healing from wood cutting

Dunno. I was an engineer, not a doctor ;) But in this specific instance where the doc appears to be using light elements VS lasers or other heating elements, I would assume the results would be similar given a similar amount of radiation. The use of light bulb elements makes it more...

The layman's term for infra-red is 'heat'. You are using a heat belt. Infra-Red does not penetrate the skin very much at all compared to something like microwaves. What you are using is heat therapy. It isn't new, and a belt with a simple heating element will also product infra-red radiation...

Have we forgotten that I originally picked up this Harley on the other side of Nottingham? The first day I had this bike, I drove it 6 hours across 3 countries if Wales is to be taken seriously. ;)

Wouldn't hurt the looks to have a saw attached. Might give tail-gaiters on BMW's sumfin to think about.

I'd rather put you to work in the timber at my old haunting grounds! 350 is very tempting, but dunno how I would attach it to my scooter for the ride back. Here's one of the first pieces of wood the MMWS 044 was thrown at: I think this monster is still mostly laying intact in the far field...

They are here and the UK. When I was in the PNW, I mostly saw .050. Maybe for lighter chains on longer bars? I do notice my old MMWS 044 oiled pretty well, but I think my 10mm 044 does OK up to 24". If you go to rapeseed oil, or cut it with some, it helps a bit especially when it's cold out.

You need to find some decent wood, and maybe learn to tilt that camera into landscape mode. ;)

    Inside the MS462C

I think the issue with the 261 muffler is the baffle is nearly flush with the top of the exhaust port from the cylinder, and is basically a big shelf. So it is forcing the pulse from the cylinder down as much as forwards VS up the instant it leaves the cylinder. Because of this, you have a lot...

I think that may be it. I hear from a lot of folks they don't have a baffle. But if you look at the stock muffler through the exhaust outlet you obviously can not see the muffler inlet, which you should be able to see if there were no baffle. The baffle forces the exhaust to go to the front of...

We had a guy tried to dyno stuff on another forum. Dunno if he's still at it. I only pop in on occasion to the woods forums anymore. But as far as comparing - it's sort of like chainsaw weight. Unless you trust someone, it's best you have the saw before yourself to judge it yourself. Take...

You could maybe do a squish adjustment and more aggressive porting. But I never participated in the porting wars myself, so adjusting the squish when she puts out over 180psi seems a bit much to me. I am sure Randy or whomever could do much better. My main point was sometimes with an M-Tronic...

What I like about the vid is since I didn't have to change the squish I was able to make all three vids the same day in the same conditions. I found it an eye-opener. Again, the changes could be so much because the muffler might be different? I am nearly at sea level in very thick air. I dunno...

It's an 18" bar, running semi chisel 325 chain I think, tip buried in horse chestnut, which is about like poplar. Here's the vid of it stock, muffler modded, and then ported with the muff mod. If I recall, it had great compression as stock, too. Lemme see if I can find the pic... ah here: All...

I stopped porting them the moment I finished the one in the vid. All I do are muff mods now.
