Size is too small for japanese beetle. Looks more like golden tortoise beetle. I see them when I am picking blackberries in early July...

Already done.. There were only about 400 of em. And yes, pick em up, get wheels under em, and worry about where they go after. Best time...

Doesn't show up very well in the pics, but he was almost yellow in color. Was inside the trailer, so it's possible he was from foreign...
