Very good for carving. Better than bass wood in that it holds smaller detail better, has a pale white shade.

Mimosa looks and cuts a lot like black walnut when sawed into lumber, probably burns about like walnut too.

If I was low on firewood I would be processing it all but I have about 25 cord c/s/s & another 4-5 cord in logs that needs worked up...
