They all have issues. A little research goes a long way.
There is one actual Stihl dealer with in 30 miles of me the rest are farm stores, farm equipment dealers or Ace hardware. The dealer is a dik if you didn't buy it from them.
All but a couple of OPE was bought used or given to me as said...
I'm here because my local Stihl dealer basically useless, and no Husqvarna dealers around here. So fixing my own stuff was/is a necessity and i can usually find the info I need here. Good group here that's for sure.
If it works out great if not no big deal. Just thought I'd ask and try to help out a good cause.
The fact that parts store calenders aren't what they used to may play some small part also...
Any one in New Zealand willing to buy and ship 3 of these wahine toa calenders to the US? I will gladly reimburse you of course. The $60 flat rate international shipping is a bit hard to handle... Thanks in advance

I have made in USA pair of Carolinas with a good shank. They don't make the safety toe USA made ones any more i don't believe.
The off shore made Carolinas I had were flimsy.
Agree completely on the Redwings and Chippewas.
This has been my experience with the waterproof boots as well.
I have to special order plain leather boots at the shop locally as they only stock the more popular waterproof stuff. I get why they do it just kind of irritating they don't have any plain boots...
I had some of the darn tough and noble best dang work socks I tried before camel city.
Both were to thick and didn't wick moisture as good for me anyway.
It's like everything else, personal preference.
