    Duke's saw chain

And I thought I had issues. With your more practical application of saw chain for (guessing)professional use I now know I have issues regarding chain saws. Truthfully already knew my saw and ax issues. With Duke's saw chain(original) I think you will be pleased regarding cost vs performance...

    Duke's saw chain

Yeah, I have a full set of WCS raker gauges, all sizes now. 3/8"LP to .404". Very useful for different types of wood, different chain gauge and different power-head performance. Really liking this simple little product for *dialing it in* chain-wise in performance. Very practical for every day...

    Duke's saw chain

If you bought the original Duke's chain I bet you a chocolate chip cookie you will be happy. If the raker gauges you bought are the WCS gauges I'll double or triple the bet. Gordy makes some good stuff

    Duke's saw chain

As said, pleased with the original Duke's 3/8" and 3/8"LP chain. Very pleased. The .325" pitch still deciding but looking good so far. A 3/8" ripping/milling chain pre-order I'm waiting for still outstanding. I hope Duke's is holding the quality standard of previous chain to the same...

    066 bar stud

Yes, there is an OEM repair (over-sized) stud for this. Do not drill out or use other methods, you may lose the easy options. Stihl has over-sized bar studs for repair of stripped case side bar studs for several series. Google is your friend here

So what did you buy today

I have my Dad's Ruger Super(stainless steel) BlackHawk 7 1/2" in 44 Magnum. Have the original box and receipt. Mom's Christmas present one year to Dad in the '80's. It was a surprise gift. So many hours, days and memories in the 80's and 90's spent shooting Coke/soup cans at 20 to 50 yards and...

    Saw suggestions

I run a 355T(14" & MM) and the little 2511T(12" & WCS muffler). Both are excellent. Especially like the 2511T running around on the 4 wheeler. Great for trail work. Mean little saw. Don't know that I would recommend either to a new or novice saw user though. Just saying

    Duke's saw chain

I'm thinking both 100' reels came as part of larger orders as no shipping label on either box. Yes, same issue with spools collapsing on both reels. I have not had this issue with other brands of 100' reels using same shipper. Card board spool could use improvement I still like your original...

    Duke's saw chain

I remember one reel was part of a larger order, big box. Basically the spool ended up shaped like a "Z" instead of expected "I●I" If that makes sense. Spool collapsed and let the chain wrap loosen and tangle. I will look tonight to see if one has a shipping label on the box.

    Duke's saw chain

I and others have kind of de-railed this post, "DUKE's Saw Chain". Thankfully other's have carried the side rail further off the tracks than myself. Back to DUKE's saw chain. I have used several of Duke's chain in three pack's of different DL counts, 3/8" plus a few .325" and a...

    Duke's saw chain

Still cutting well enough to use. Keeping it sharp. Will run this loop until I start breaking or bending teeth in wood

    Duke's saw chain

3/8 LP semi with a few links of full chisel spliced in. Several tanks in after repair after finding a nail, wire or S-hook(something metal) while limbing out a little tree.
