I didn't think about that, it's probably true that goods that go to an American have been subject to tariffs, I thought you were supposed to buy in Canada and send to the US for port work.

The biggest danger is perhaps that the system isn't ingrained enough for the package to travel back and forth smoothly.

I'm going to have a cup of tea before bed, I've come a long way on a simple porting of a 357 I'm building for myself. It takes a long time when you're as rusty as I am, a good five years since I used Foredom regularly
I wouldn't use the G with only the rear element working, it's the front handle that requires watts from the generator.
If you use only the rear I think there's a chance you'll damage the elements in the long run.
On Husqvarna there is around 4 ohm resistance in the front handle, it has been on the 1xx - 5xx series, but the 5xx has a nicer heating element compared to the older ones.
What I have had to do in the past is take the heating element and use it on NLA handles, it does require caution when...
