Using saws for firewood heat with since 1990. In 2009 married into an Angus farm that has enough woodland to keep us busy falling dead and dying trees and clearing fallen debris off roads and fences. Since lurking here and AS for several years, have found that CAD is indeed real and have learned a great deal about rebuilding the older saws and repairing 2-stroke equipment. Seems the extended family and friends have some idea that I know what I'm doing as I'm asked to fix a couple dozen of them a year. I've thought of joining for a while, but just now getting around to it, with hopes that maybe I can share some of the things I've learned. I don't Facebook, X, or Twit so this forum thing will probably have a bit of a learning curve!
