That's from a sp81. 10 series full wraps (very hard to find) are crimped below the clutch cover.

Well, the problem with the saw ended up being an air leak. I've tried a few simple things, but haven't found the leak yet. I have no time to mess with it. I gave it a wicked port job, and with work it would be a great saw. If anyone is interested, I'm letting it go for what I have into it...

Its a very early 10-10 produced just after the 1-10 and 2-10. It had the 1 rib air filter and manual oiler.
