Hey guys, I'm looking for a full wrap to fit my homelite vi-130. I know that they made full wraps for these saws, and I would really like to find one. So, if anyone has one that they would part with, please let me know....
Its a steel plug that has a jb weld like coating over it. The jb weld cracks and causes air leaks. My guess is that it cracked on cowroy's 795 causing the plug to fall out......
The problem with the 250 is whatever port design mcculloch used on them they have low top rpm. The s44 gets more rpm and cuts faster. I would love to port a 250 and see what I could do with it.
I used a sdc 20. I was going to use a sdc 18, but that required a idle speed screw mod. The sdc 20 worked great. The only thing I had to change was the diaphragm plate to one that didn't have a impulse fitting in it.
It's easy to start a chainsaw with your left arm. That is, in fact, the way I start all my saws. Just watch any "Bucking billy ray" video and you will see how....
Any 440 740 790 797 recoil will fit a 795. Nice fined! I just got my 795L running today, and what a great saw! I adapted a sdc carb to fit it, and what a difference the sdc carb makes.
There was no model tag, which got me thinking, though oem replacment cases have no tags. The big giveaway was that there was no markings under the tank. Oem cases are marked with the huski logo, and "em original" under the gas tank.
