Working on new cabinets for the bathroom that I'll be remodeling this year. Given the choice between oak and cedar, she chose cedar. I have to make the drawers next. Not perfect, but she's happy with them.

I just had a MS261C 3.0 that ran like crap and would not reset. It turned out that the center electrode in the spark plug was loose. The next strange thing was that the spark plug boot fell off. The terminal in the end of the coil wire was broken. I was going to blame the electronics, but I...

My auto-darkening was a gift.... and a POS. I don't weld enough for an expensive one. So it's back to the flip lens type with cheater lens and gold glass.

The magnifier is a good idea. I have one in my welding helmet but never thought about the grinder. Great idea.

Very interesting. I haven't had to work on an ASAM system yet.

Now, if that ain't a good reason to learn hand grinding.

Look at the bit closely to find how you failed, you can correct it from there. There are some good vids on YT for grinding bits. It's another thing in life that you can learn that no one can take away from you.

Once you learn to grind them by hand, you'll never reach for the jig again.
