In the 90's, we had 2 new intakes that were flawed. We took them to the Holley trailer at a NSRA streetrod show to get them replaced. The reps at the show would do nothing for us. I've had nothing to do with them since. I'm funny that way.

I swear, in the mid 70's they detuned and threw a bunch of hoses and sensors on engines. Worked great. Less power and mpg's. Fast forward, even more sensors and 6 miles of wire. What could go wrong? I may be cynical, but I grew up in simpler times.

Random pics (that you took) thread...

There are a couple of trucks here that have their front bumper 3 feet high and the rear bumper almost scraping the ground. I don't get it.

There's so much stuff and people on that wagon that it looks more like a hay ride than baling. :D:D

I always figured, if we broke down, it was easy to get going again, if it was kept simple. The cars with black magic were usually trailered to the shows. But that was in the early...

    Cast iron cookware

I never gave thought of the age of my pans. I acquired 3 of them from my grandmother, and they were likely my great grandmothers'. If she bought them new, it would have been around 1900. Cool!

    Random Thought Of The Day

Auctioned off. My folks had a lot of stuff. I brought 1 load home of stuff that I could use and took 5 loads to their place of stuff that I didn't use anymore.

    Random Thought Of The Day

My Dad had one. It made quite a pile of sawdust and made your ears bleed. It still ran when he passed away 5 years ago. He bought it new in 1964 I think. It replaced a 2 man hand saw.
