An update kit came out several years into production because they were chewing up bearings. It uses an 044 clutch drum and a larger bearing

hm...cut and weld? so, you need to change from a sm spline to a large spline. I wonder if Oregon makes anything

Kept the stock parts except the carb, and used the impukse line instead of the stupid boot setup. Made a throttle linkage for it...
