So what did you do today?

never used SLIP, but I have used EZ Slide graphite paint in the past. It worked good, but you always had to re-apply it and now I can't find it locally (sold by Tractor Supply). I went with some $12 rustoleum oil base flat black this time.

So what did you do today?

sharpened blades & wire wheeled my zero turn deck before I left for work today. my old buffer & wire cup makes quick work of it. I'll spray a coat of rust reformer & brush a heavy coat of rustoleum on when I get home. I gotta bring the skidloader back up to lift the 955 deck, 450lbs vs my...

So what did you do today?

started today off with bloodwork & checkup (I absolutely HATE needles). back in January I had a spell of dangerously high blood pressure, but now it's well under control. I'm back on anxiety meds & down 12 lbs mostly from zero caffeine, watching sodium intake & eating healthier in general...

So what did you do today?

whopping 3 inches of snow from the "storm" last night. I already had the blade on the 955 so I opened up mine & the neighbors driveway from PennDOT's plow job. Took longer to let the tractor warm up than it did to clear everything, in 10 minutes it was done.

that chain looks like it was made on a Friday. pretty unusual for Oregon, I've never had a bad one from local or online.

    Stihl Pullin'

I somewhat agree with this. I think a lot of people just grab a saw (or other OPE) and start yanking the cord like its their chode, by then they've either flooded it or their arm is tired. put it on choke, pull it over slowly a few revolutions to "prime" it, then yank that MF like it owes you...

    Stihl Pullin'

lot of factors here, you're opening a can of worms lol. specific models are you referring to? stock/modified? fuel type? all my mine (numerous Stihl's from 150TC to my 880, my Husq 390 & Echo 620PW) start within 3 pulls being dead cold no matter how long they sit. I run non-E gas mixed at my...

Flap Wheels for Mower Blade Sharpening

most of the time I use a 60 grit flap-wheel just to touch up blades, if they're pretty rough I'll use 36 grit.
