My other 2100 has that flame protector cup but someone has made the holes bigger and more of them, I reckon they suck sawdust back into the cylinder if the exit is too big and free flowing.

found an airfilter cover finally, it has a crack but i can fix that

The oil pump has no physical connection to the crank when the clutch is off and its tight

The manual says install the bearings in the cace, they have a tool for the clutch side bearing to use as a stop. If i don't crank the oil pump mounting screws up super tight its nice and free

Hello I put together a Husqvarna 2100cd and when i installed the clutch side main bearing I used an old oil pump as a stop to set the location of the main bearing, heated the crankcase and dropped the bearing in, but when i put the oil pump on it wouldn't turn when i tightend the screws. I got it to spark, was the ignition switch even tho I tested it like 10 times, end snapped off and then it started sparking, I didn't have a switch but had a 180s kill button.

How are the pullstart pawls held on to the FEMSA flywheel? Cerclips? They have been tied on with nylon on this saw, I gess the clips dont like the rpm?

Hello i have a couple of husqvarna 2100cd saws, one has no spark, it has a totally different looking flywheel and ignition system, it looks like the one on the RH side with smaller fins and red HT lead and module, Can I fit a replacement module from amazon or ebay? They look different
