I don't have much experience with finishing big slabs in a live edge condition.....Matt has done more of that than I. I have worked with big slabs cutting em down into smaller pieces..... and yeah, expect movement......sometimes lots of it, it all depends on the species, tree, and individual...

I really don't know.......to me it's just a "barbecue"........but that's what I call anything black that's used for outdoor cooking. I paid a whopping $32 for it, so no big deal regardless what it's sposta be, I just figured it was probably worth more than that so I bought it to flip.

Also picked up two thickness planer / molders, a 12" craftsman and an 18" woodmaster. Plus a wheelbarrow load of small stuff. And, a 6' misery whip to hang on the wall. Should the smoker (or whatever it is) have no floor?.........

Just rolled in from a fairly successful auction.......

Nah...I doubt even you could destroy these things......maybe the rest of the trailer..... but the fenders will remain.

Good morning. 59/89 & sunny........as per them as don't know nothin about the weather. Tom finished the fender project yesterday...... pretty much impervious to anything, (I would even loan it to Thomas @Hinerman ) 1/8" tread plate with lots of reinforcement. He even added stake pockets...

Gotta go to Seymour and pick up a load of hog feed in the morning, should be around after noonish.

Spaulted sycamore. Maybe a fireplace mantle, or something.
