You may want to get a progressive raker gauge. They really are well thought out.

Just use it and keep grinding.. it’ll get a little better each time.. Chains have gotten too expensive to not use all of.

Just shorten the teeth to account for your ham handedness on the depth gauges… Been there, done that.
