I take a sharp knife and V them out, prefill with hot mud, then just tape as usual. You really have to feather them out pretty wide if...

I never have developed a repeatable method for butt joints. Not too shabby at everything else.

One other thought in regards to Red Armor and it's weird ability to provide for lots of residual oil. I think it might be an illusion...

The 600 etec is a stupid choice for a work sled. The ACE four stroke woukd be OK, if it were not for the fact it weighs a ton.
