well redline4 ive got a heatgun and a soft mallet and since im in no rush i can walk away from it for awhile if the job really sucks. lol i really hate to toss stuff away if it can be fixed at a reasonable cost plus working on a project is better then watching the tv/idiot box.

hello folks,ive got a stihl ms261c that has ate a connecting rod needle bearing.the piston and cylinder was have lite scoring but my main concern is splitting the saw to change the crank.can a guy do this without special tools and is there anyplace you can buy good used cranks?the damn things...

thanks steve,ive got a nice collection of ox heads.but my first is still my fave.its got thousands of miles on it riding in my pack sack.
