thank you for the tip. the aftermarket carb is the one that feels like it doesnt have the springs. I will pay close attention to the factory car when i take the needles out if i can even get them out.
the original carb with the tiny D screws look to me like the heads are buggered up. if they are i may try to solder or epoxy extentions on them so i can just adjust them by hand. if thats even possible
yes, yes I do. he gave the echo 9010 a few months ago that needed a carb. he put a cheap on off amazon and couldnt ever get it to run. i made that on run too. the cheap carb wont let it rev as high as it should. its about 500 rpms low but it still pretty strong
Update. the shop called last week and said either tbe wrist pin or main bearing is tight and that it needs a new motor. So he ordered a new engine and replaced it under warranty. I got it back today and it runs great. I told my friend and asked him if he wanted it back. he was firm in his...
my friend said that he didnt really know values without being there to see condition of stuff. he also said takd as much of it as you could if it was cheap enough because there is a market for most all of it.
