Note that turbo saw guy hasn't done anything with it in a year. There's no video of it cutting with a turbo. You need an exhaust valve to prevent the boost from just blowing out the exhaust. You should lookup how a detroit diesel 2 stroke works. Anyone can bolt lipstick on a pig.
You can't effectively boost a piston ported 2 stroke. You need valves in the engine or the boost just goes out the exhaust. Go watch 2strokestuffing on youtube. I saw some nasty little 4 stroke chainsaw on the tubes the other day, you could in theory turbo that.
Well you have quite the murder mystery here. I go back to something randy said. Any chance there's any blockage/leak to the impulse. Badly cut gasket or damaged gasket? Tried removing the wire for the kill switch from the coil?
Does it feel like 110? If so try the tester on another saw. I've had the shrader valves get sticky/dirty. When that is the case they read around 100-110. If that happens I'll wash it in mix gas and put it back in and it works.
