I have a Partner 5000 Plus and wondered if anyone knew of the options available when it comes to sourcing compatible piston and cylinder. I remember reading somewhere that there is a meteor kit that can be used - maybe with slight modification. Any suggestions are most welcome.

I've looked in the service manual and the initial setting for the high speed screw is 1.7 turns out. When I was first given the saw to repair, the H screw was only 1.25 turns out - I don't know why this was the case and will enquire with the owner as to whether anyone else had made an attempt...
