Picked up this 1990 262xp with a scored am cylinder and an HDA87 carb, also came with a new am piston/cylinder kit which I wont install which someone paid $112 for in 2016.
can someone help identify the correct part # for the anti vibe buffer I think it is called the goes in the frontmost part of fuel tank/handle opposite the spring on a 1991 262xp?
The only part # I can find is 503524101 see below
problem is it is smaller than the broken part I removed see next...
Picked up this 2004 55 Rancher today from marketplace $150. Removed muffler P/C perfect missing cpl cover/starter screws 2 pulls starts right up. Adjusted the carb runs, idles, oils, chain brake works. Starter handle not oem but it still started lol.
I could be wrong and probably am but my understanding is that the early years were KS with the hda87 carb. Im sure ppl with more knowledge will have input.
I inspected a 1990 262xp that arrived yesterday. Cylinder is Mahle not original but does have an HDA 87. I have a 1990 KS cylinder I could swap but IDK.
