I use my chainsaw helmet with mesh shield while trimming. You can see well with it except when the sun is in your face.

Did you remove the stock tensioner on the saw? This would be nice for the 359 as well…

Yes remove the tensioner on the saw and use the one in the new clutch cover

It seems it would make bar/chain changes less of a PITA with the outboard clutch.

old guy replied to the thread Aftermarket Rancher clutch covers.I have the oem 460 covers on 350s, 346s, 357s, & 359s, it is so much better. I have not tried aftermarket covers.

Same. I converted mine from M-Tronic to non. Using a blown 291 as a donor. I prefer my550xp though.
