So what did you buy today

Lol...great story. I'm 62 now and still ride quite well, I prefer to stay on smaller dirt-bikes and atv's anymore. I did grab the Yamaha TTR 90 yesterday, it's a cool little bike as well.....

So what did you buy today

I picked this up a week ago today. I bought one new back in '02, my son outgrew it quickly, so I traded that one in on an '06 CRF 100f. I liked the little 70 I bought new back in '02 and decided it was time to try to find another, after a few ghostings on Marketplace, and driving a rather long...

    What's on your bench?

The 030av was the first saw I bought where I paid good money for a saw back in the early 80's. I still own a nice one. If you plan to make that one a runner, confirm that the flywheel is from an 031ave (electronic ignition) if you plan to re-use that chip. These saws will run with a chip, but...

    What's on your bench?

I picked up this early metal tank 028 last Summer, just sold it to my BIL a few weeks ago. It was in really nice shape and ran very well.... ;)

So what did you buy today

I'll be grabbing this rig this morning. I bought the same unit about a week ago that also had the extension section. I own three 40 volt saws of the same make and they've worked quite well for me when I do use them. I want this one for a back up and to have another extra battery. This one I'm...

    HUSQVARNA HUSQVARNA THREAD

I still have yet to try a 346 top end one of this series of saws. I have four that I could do it to if I wanted to, a 340, the 345 shown, a 350, and a J-red 2149 (although this one is split cranck-case, but could still be done). The 345 is the choice of the four for doing it since the top end is...

    Still OEM 42cc clam style.

    HUSQVARNA HUSQVARNA THREAD

Some 345's were and some weren't from what I've found. Either way with a riser a 346 cylinder will bolt on. Mine does happen to be the clam style and is OEM.

    HUSQVARNA HUSQVARNA THREAD

Grabbed this nice cosmetically looking 345 cheap the other day. Top end smoked, so it will be either put back stock, or I may go the route of the 346 top end. It was too nice on the outside to pass it up for what I gave for it.....;)

    ECHO Echo, Echo, Echo

I personally like the 500vl, they actually run quite well. I picked this one up cheap a couple years ago in un-loved condition. It cleaned up nicely and now runs like it should.....:)

    Rancher 455 Slow Oil Leak

These saws had an update on the oil pick up tube, #2 in the parts list you posted. I replaced one earlier this year.

Homelite 540? Did they really exist?

This one popped up on Craigslist a few weeks back, it was NOS, never fueled. As tempting as it was for me, I passed a link to my buddy that lived within ten minutes from where it was listed, He snagged it up at a great price, he's thrilled to own it......
