I thought I'd post my own experience with a Farmertec 372XP kit saw from HL Supply:
Mine has very few OEM parts except for the air filter cover, small end rod and clutch bearings and a NIB Walbro HD12-1 carb. Just wanted to mention that the Walbro carb was well worth the $90 entry fee. With the...
I know this thread is well over a year old but thought I'd post my own experience with a Farmertec 372XP kit saw from HL Supply:

I still have my dad's from the 70s. It has it's original straight, fiberglass handle. When my dad passed I ended up with it and it was missing a spring as well. Just couldn't get rid of it. Then I found out the company has been re-established and is making both new axes and repair kits! So it's...
How did you know an 8N restoration is on my bucket list Bill?! When my wife and I retire to our Montana property in a few years, I'm going to start looking for one. Going to do the Ford flathead V8 conversion thing.

Washer - 0000 958 1234
I've given this a lot of thought since reading drf256's reply. Although I have these parts coming to complete the installation, I'm...
Something to consider. I wish I'd waited a bit longer before ordering the kit... If I decide to move forward on the adjustable oiler will I be able to find the washer and sleeve online? Or will I have to order them from Stihl (my local Ace Hardware is a Stihl dealer)?
Thanks for the heads up...
