    Intrepid stove

I have an Intrepid II; it has different damper/air control system on the right rear of the box, consisting of a damper lever and a separate air lever.

    Powerhorse 22 Ton Log Catcher?

I just bought and assembled a Powerhorse 22 ton half-beam gas log splitter and I'm wondering if anyone has one of these; I ordered it from Northern Tool, assembled it myself and it is working great. The one thing I would like to add to it is some sort of larger log 'catcher' or 'table'. The...

I've looked, I've not found, I've given up looking. :BangHead:

    Seeking HVA 562XP expert advice

Good hypothesis! I also consider that it might be 'over oiling' and built-up oil (not dispersed in sawdust or wiped off on cut wood) on the inside of the clutch cover eventually drips out. If properly installed (and engineered) the bar/oil port should be relatively sealed and oil delivery should...

    Seeking HVA 562XP expert advice

Just a couple of 1-minute 'test runs' to ensure it's running OK; on first start, it seemed to be idling strange (autotune 'tuning'?) but it settled out and I was trying to get an 'oil stripe' to diagnose the dripping bar oil, no abuse! :)

    Seeking HVA 562XP expert advice

Thanks for the reply; there is oil coming from the rubber oiler hose where it meets up with the bar so Im thinking that the hose to that junction is OK. I am hoping that someone will reply with info on the bar b/c I feel that's the origin of the problem.

    Seeking HVA 562XP expert advice

So I bought a Husqvarna 562XP today and I'm having a minor issue with it. I've got bar oil leaking all over, dripping out from under the clutch cover. I've installed & re-installed the bar a half-dozen times and it seems to have helped somewhat, but there is still an issue with oil 'leaking'...

some 2 stroke oil specifications from dragonfly75.com

This thread is definitely one of the best researched, well-written and informative reads on 2-stroke engine oils I've ever seen. Many thanks to all contributors, especially rocco490. :beer-toast1:

Optimum fuel ratio for longevity of husqvarna saws

32:1 here in western MA (1000' elevation), 93 octane Sunoco gas. Have run this mix in all my equipment this year and no smoke, no issues, EZ starting too. My current preferred 2-stroke mix oil is full synthetic Arctic Cat APV (Arctic Power Valve) oil (had two gallons on the shelf, it's blue)...

    Flip-Up fuel/oil cap for HVA 543XP

Does anyone have any info on which HVA flip-up caps will fit a 543XP? I got two flip caps at my local Tractor Supply store ('genuine' HVA part # 593133001) but these caps were too big for the 543XP. They seem to be the same caps included with a 550XP (TS's website states they fit '...all...

    Jonsered 2050 Turbo refurbishment project

OK, sorry about the confusion (I'm confused!) I edited my previous post and corrected it to the chain they supplied, an H23. I don't think the H23 qualifies as a micro chisel, those cutters are huge!

    Jonsered 2050 Turbo refurbishment project

Doesn't look like to me, where are you getting that info? The cutter has a sharp corner and a very long tooth section. EDIT: SORRY, my bad....The chain they supplied is an H23, NOT an H30!
