Tried that already. No dice. I did try spraying some carb cleaner around the base of the carn and no change but around the throttle shaft it will just about kill the saw with a light squirt. Think I found the culprit.
Tried it bar down, didn't leak. I'll try bar up. This saw has me scratching a bald spot in my head lol. It looks like fuel is coming from somewhere on the right side of the carb ABOVE the fuel inlet. I have no idea what would cause that though. Also doesn't seem to leaking while running. And...
This one has me stumped so here I am asking for help. I'll try to cover all the usual suspects:

Rebuilding a 570 with a scored piston and cylinder on it. Needs a new PTO side crank seal and I've read conflicting things, some say you have to split the case and others say that you don't. Which is it? Anyone actually done seals on one of these saws before?
