    HELP! Tractor size

Ryan has made a couple of good points. Weight keeps you planted, and more weight can add traction. I have a 40-ish hp tractor, 4wd, and a non hydrostatic transmission with a power reverser. Everyone has their favorites. Also, there is a reason i own an excavator and a tractor, not a backhoe...

So what did you buy today

Picked it up this week, putting a clutch in it and patching up the hydraulics. 94 3500CC with a 360/5 speed, only 66k miles. Nothing but places with light surface rust. Don't ask about the dash, it's a Dodge.

For some reason those manual prints remind me of pubs on microfiche. Old school. Mr Awesome

    Hurricane Helene victims

We have a couple of groups looking to do some food on the weekends between Thanksgiving and Christmas. We thought about one of those weekends also doing some things for Christmas. Might be a thought to work along the Christmas theme with the gifts. There will be plenty of need for a while to...

What time are we starting breakfast? It'll take bit to cook up everything. I'll bring all the pancake stuff and sausage. With eggs being there it would be a good breakfast. Should we do biscuits instead of pancakes.... I ask because it fits and goes better with sausage and eggs. Also there...

    Hurricane Helene victims

Either side of Old Fort Mtn and north will be forgotten before we even get to Thanksgiving. Living outside of Old Fort and having driven through most of it I can say it isn't going to get better any time soon. I've actually been in multiple third world countries and it's as bad as the worst of...

    Helene and electricity hazards:

Do not travel this way. Multiple groups from multiple agencies are setting up distribution and triage areas. Some places still locked in. Mudslides are still an issue. I travel to Hickory/Lincolnton to get fuel and supplies for the community. Still have to clear a slide from my parents...

    Helene and electricity hazards:

Live off Old Fort mtn. We had 20"+ of rain in 36 hours. Most roads are partially cleared. I 40 closed over Old Fort mtn due to compromised sections. Black MTN and Swannanoa (West side of mtns) hammered badly.

    MS400.1 c-m

I did some short videos a while back comparing a 440, 400, and 310. All ported and running 20" and 24" bars. It only became somewhat noticeable with the 24" in the bigger wood between the three. The 440 and 400 were close with the 440 being slightly faster. All new Stihl chain too. The...

    Whaaa

You should bring the one in the first pic to Randy's GTG. More people would want to put their hands on it than most of the saws there. Mr Awesome
