Here's what I think the upper transfer ports should look like. Tight corners. Small polished bevels. My way ain't the only way of course, but it is what I want to see.
Rough in the transfers and intake ain't really a problem. A burr finish is even fine. The intake port shape is terrible though.....but that's not a big deal really. It's the area between the upper transfers the made us decide to replace the cylinder. The muffler had a coating of fine metal dust...
Welp....the timing wasn't advanced.....so, maybe. Carb limiters were completely gone too. Sure fire way to bend the fugh outta the needles with a screwdriver.
I have no idea. After the trouble the guy had getting his saw back....he didn't even start it. Sent it to us to check out. This jug is getting replaced.
