    FOUND IT 14mm stihl bar, 28" - 32"

To my knowledge there aren't any 28-32" current offerings for 14mm ? I did take a 32" 12mm and file out the slot for 14mm and channel the oil hole to work for my 088 stihl.

I Made my own .080 gasket for a 288xp with an 066 piston because of clearance. Thing is if you've got oem every thing ,compression shouldn't be too much?

You can run any pitch chain you want on a hard-nosed bar, .325,3/8ths,or .404 Roller nose is the same ,except it robs less power.

Are the clutch springs broke? Maybe your trying to pull the chain around at the same time as the motor?

    MCCULLOCH The official McCulloch thread

I think I've found at least 5 of the Allen head screws loose in oil tanks of my 10 series saws. I've sprayed out 3 or 4 oil pumps to get them working, high end kerosene has worked for me twice also.

You can get electric solder and poke it through the spark plug hole till it just touches the cylinder wall , then rotate the cylinder over by hand using the flywheel. The piston should crush the solder , measure the solder and calculate the squish. Should be shooting for .017-.040 anything in...

    SELLING Stihl 026

The piston ring looks to be 1.5 , the factory is 1.2 , not trying to stir the pot here ,it's just what I saw. I personally don't think an aftermarket piston is a big deal? The cylinder has oem marks on top that AM don't. Just the fact that someone has definitely been in that saw makes it...
