I've fished the other/west side of the ocean. I don't see that type of bass. What is scientific name or common name? Looks to be good eating!

They all seem to live in mountains/hills with huge rock piles with places they can den and hibernate in.
How about welding/bolting a hitch ball to the top of a jackstand a putting it under the ball hitch. You won't have to screw with the splitter, but will have to carry the jackstand with the splitter.
