Nice ride. Must be quick and drive down the road good.
I like the old GMs where you can swap out everything from an I-6 to a 454/455 and it bolts right up. Most of other drivetrain and running gear too. Cheviacts, Oldsmoicks, Buveys, Pontimobiles,.......... A friend put a 455 GTO/muncie in...
We've got a run of nice weather coming up. Front came through last night and was 51 oF with dew point in the 40s. Dew point was in 70s Sat/Sun.
Looks to be fine rest of week with 70s/50s every day. Good haying weather, but getting dry.
Nice work! 66 or 67? Can't see the front grille (metal vs plastic like 66-67 GTOs).
From what you've said about motor, and I can see from the brakes (nice to be able to stop) it's got lots of upgrades. Did it start out as an SS and missing the emblems?
A good friend has a black 66 SS...
I've got a couple of those . Will charge up to 160 psi and hold a good bit of water.
Funny story.
Back in college days we were renting a duplex with a shared rear deck, had a privacy partition. Neighbors cats used to come on our side, and crap on the deck. We added some dish detergent to one...
GB bars are good stuff. Not much dealer support/Dealers in USA though.
They also make long 3003 mount bars in 3/8 picco/lo pro. I use those for CS milling.
I don't have as many "crappy days" as you guys, most looking for wild brook trout in the mountains.
A few of the lakes do have some nice ones. These were real eager to hit some tiny 1- 1 1/2" minnows, I trapped, at an inlet when floated by on a tiny bobber. Went home with a couple bags full.
