Stihl took two steps backwards with flippy caps. The best caps are on the old saws that had the metal chains and hook that kept the cap...

Modern "paper" tends to be coated both sides in plastic like shiny ink so it looks prettier to the consumer. That stuff won't burn...

Besides catalytic mufflers what does 100LL harm? I've been using it in cars since the 1970s, I have SBC. at ~12:1 compression, 210lbs...

I have ran it a lot. Sometimes 50/50 with 87 non ethanol. No problems and my saws like it. Also, keeps along time.

I’d go with the heavy wall plastic race gas jug if you want ease of use and longevity. They are heavier plastic than most red fuel...
