I disagree. I ain't singling out anyone in particular, but some people are just too f'n miserable to be around any social gathering. Doesn't matter if it's a Facebook group, small town coffe shop or Thanksgiving dinner, some folks just can't interact without making a scene.
If a man can look beyond the bathroom humor and dramatic meltdowns, there is still a decent amount of good information passed around this forum every day. If you can find an administrator who has no skin in the game, it's worth salvaging what you have.
You make a valid point. I've bought and sold several saws on here over the last few years and they've all been smooth transactions. However, threads like this make guys like me less likely to dig up the ol' Maxwell House can.
My bil recently went through the same terrifying scenario. After months of dicking around poking and prodding, scanning and x-raying they finally went in with a great big needle and took a sample. Turned out to be a fungus, most likely caused from inhaling the dust in his chicken coop.
