I was stationed in Petersburg. Spent 2 seasons cruising around the inside passage. We'd patrol Dixon Entrance in the summer and anchor up in those bays on the south end of P.O.W. Some held fish, some didn't. Best fishing I ever experienced in my life was off Forester Island, west of P.O.W.

I was stationed in SE. AK. for awhile when I was in the service. Best seafood on earth, period. What's your home port?

Exactly what I'm saying. If it was as easy as clamping it in a fixture and letting your cnc machine port it, Stihl and Husqvarna and Farmertech would do it at the factory.

Since we're talking about porting, doesn't it seem obvious I'm talking about the cylinder?

They designed it, cast it and machined it. If it was as simple as writing a program and having some flunky put it on a fixture and push the button, wouldn't they be doing it at the factory?

I stumbled onto a thread Randy Evans was doing about the 550XP MarkII in a google search a few years ago. Joined immediately.

Pretty sure they offer it (XSP) in 5w-40 and 5w-30. I know for a fact they make the semi-synthetic (XLE) in 10w-30.
