Yesterday I swapped sparkplugs in my br800 because when I was setting the carb I did not know for sure that all was good with my machine due to an 80 lower rpm from Echo Red Armor 50:1. (RA 50:1 is highest of all oils tested by me and +10 over Saber 50:1) . I noticed an 80 rpm drop with Maxima...

That begs the question .... As cheap as they were, and sold everywhere, why not just buy new parts?

I have run it in br800x and fs131r. Clean and responsive at 50:1. Runs a tad warmer than Saber but has a better hit. Edit... Smells good.

Edit.. What oil/ratio in your opinion would help to solve the bearing pocket issue?

Wow, that's crazy. I go sideways with my Stihl dealer, TriGreen in Athens, Al for not stocking basic parts. It's so bad I'll never buy equipment from them. Sorry to say that but they really need to improve.

Someone asked me why I preferred gasoline equipment. Gee... If you ask that question you probably need battery powered everything including car, truck, hand trucks, toothbrush, roller skates, etc....

When I was a kid in 1970 or so we would throw ddt powder onto our river property every June to keep bugs to a minimum. It worked. Complete shutdown.

I have a new br800 which is a warranty replacement for one that bit the dust due to a pushrod coming out of socket and tearing up a bunch of cam area stuff. To me, the biggest reason to shun the 4-mix blowers is the cam being located in a very labor intensive area. I find it advantageous to view...
