The numbers on the end are usually a revision number, I looked in my service bulletins but I can’t find the 540 cylinder information,

Those might be 540 cylinders also, the 540 had an early design and a late model right before the 8800 that was redesigned to reduce overheating.

Is your original 61 cylinder bad? If not I might be interested, I am looking for a stock cylinder.

I have an early xl if you need parts, it is complete and looks in decent shape yours for the ride. Still has factory 10 or 12” bar on it.

If you are looking to go real cheap on the milling saw look around and find an old homelite C Series, xl900 series or Big Mac. They are heavy and slow but will mill good.
