They are a porters dream, everything lines up nicely with the lathe work, unlike the bigger 660 cylinder which can be all over the place. -

JAn autodecomp crumbled to bits on my 555 and dropped down into the cyl. Piston pushed the bits up into the squish band, some big dents...

The stinger length and diameter are sized to generate pressure in the chamber, which is why a good portion of the length can be inside...
