The Homelite 550 ran well for about two minutes before developing an air leak. I thought it might be the modified stihl crank seals I used but it was something else. The new intake boot is kaput.

A screwdriver skates on the wall but scribes into a bare aluminum test area in a lower transfer. I think I'm gonna clean it up and find a piston. I see the guys at Chainsawr have an AM piston available.
